November 2011. “Musings of an Artist’s Wife” started in the fall of 2009. Initially, I hoped to detail George Rodrigue’s history, including his childhood, philosophy, and an in-depth examination of art series such as the Blue Dog, Landscapes and Hurricanes. Most important, the blog shares a detailed analysis of specific paintings, especially his complex Cajun works.
