A classic cocktail with a Louisiana sugarcane twist

A recipe from Kicking Mule Rum

Yield: 1 drink

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Kicking Mule Rum
  • 1 + 1/2 tsp. Steen’s Cane Syrup
  • 1 dash angostura bitters
  • 1 twist orange peel
  • 1 orange wedge for garnish

Method

Mix Kicking Mule Rum, Steen’s Cane Syrup and bitters in old fashioned glass. Rub orange around the glass rim. Twist orange peel to release flavor and mix in with other ingredients. Fill glass with ice. Garnish with an orange wedge.
