Head down to the bayou (Lafourche, that is) for the 37th Annual Bayou Lafourche Antiques Show and Sale. The event benefits the local projects of TaWaSi, the women's civic club. Pickers can peruse the wares of over forty-four dealers with a wide variety of items for sale including furniture, jewelry, books, paper, glassware, architectural and garden items, oil paintings, pottery, oriental rugs, china, country baskets, quilts, silver, tools, guns, western, and folk art. The event takes place at the Warren J. Harang, Jr. Municipal Auditorium, 310 North Canal Boulevard. Bring your appetite for good Cajun food; the show offers an onsite cafe so that shoppers can enjoy local flavors with minimal interruption to their shopping. Friday and Saturday, 10 am—5 pm. Sunday, 11 am—4 pm. $10 gets you in for all three days. (985) 413-1147 or tawasi.net.
