This festival sets out to preserve Cajun traditions and heritage through appreciation of music, dancing, and good food—no hardship, we're sure you'll agree. Lots of local bands to keep the crowd dancing; and savory Cajun dishes including jambalaya, gumbo, cracklins, and other such Southwest Louisiana treats in good supply. Raffles, a live auction, arts & crafts booths, cake walks, and games for the kids, too. The event ends with a Cajun French Catholic Mass on Sunday morning complete with Cajun choir, and donuts!
