Baton Rouge's own traditional jazz band, the Florida Street Blowhards, is breaking out the brass again this month at Chorum Hall. These gentlemen possess an extensive repertoire of New-Orleans-style jazz, allowing listeners to tap their toes along to all of the favored classics, without having to navigate the Bourbon Street traffic to get to Preservation Hall. 7:30 pm–9 pm. $15–$25 at bontempstix.com.
