Fans of New Orleans' Jazz Fest will be glad to know that the Louisiana Art & Science Museum is hosting an exhibit of festival posters in the Colonnade Gallery this summer. The Jazz Fest poster is eagerly anticipated each year, having become a cherished part of the annual Jazz Fest experience and the most collected poster in the world. From its inception in 1970, the festival has been promoted with colorful limited edition posters. Designed by notable Louisiana artists, many of them feature portraits of Jazz luminaries such as Louis Armstrong, Pete Fountain, and Ellis Marsalis. The dozen selections on view in this small exhibit are on loan from the Louisiana State Museum Collection. See All That Jazz at 100 River Road South. The museum is open every day except Monday. lasm.org.
