When "wild rover" Charlie Lafferty kicks the bucket, his loved ones hold his wake in a place teeming with dear memories and happy times for Charlie: Rory's Pub. In this interactive theatre piece at Cafe Americain, everyone's invited to send Lafferty off in true Irish fashion, with singalongs to "Whisky in the Jar," "Molly Malone," and "When Irish Eyes Are Smiling," and remembrances by Lafferty's wife, daughter, and parish priest, among others. Audience members can clink their mugs together and wish Charlie the best in the afterlife. Tickets sold exclusively at Cafe American for cash or check only.
