At the LSU Museum of Art, New York-based Lesley Dill’s I Gave My Whole Life to Words explores the artist's visual poetry. An interdisciplinary artist, Dill freely ranges from sculpture, printmaking, and photography to create installations that present an open book for the viewer. • On October 9 Dill will be in Baton Rouge to present a lecture entitled "We Are Animals of Language" as part of the LSU College of Art and Design Paula G. Manship Endowed Lecture Series. Hosted by the LSU School of Art and open to the public, Dill’s presentation will be at 5 pm on Wednesday, October 9 in the auditorium (room 103) of the LSU College of Design building on campus.
