Pecan Ridge Bluegrass Festival

This is a family-friendly music festival that has been re-convening in the woods near Jackson thrice yearly for, literally, decades. This month's set-to features performances by bluegrass and old-time gospel bands from around the southeast, including McManus Crossin', the Cooksey Family, Driskill Mountain Boys, 3 D's & Cousin Joe, L&M Bluegrass, High Lonesome, and more. From 6 pm Thursday, 1 pm Friday and Saturday at 4225 Highway 952. $10 Thursday; $15 Friday or Saturday; or $35 for a three-day pass. Plus, the event takes place in the RV park by the same name, and hookups are available if you want to just camp for the weekend. Remember, it's family-friendly, so no alcohol please.
