Plein Air at the Baton Rouge Botanic Gardens

No better way to christen the redesigned and renovated Baton Rouge Botanic Gardens than with a plein air art event. Forty to fifty artists have been invited to create whatever the spring-scented air inspires in oil, acrylics, and watercolor. A reception for artists and guests and a sale of the freshly created "wet art" will be held the evening of March 30 on the plaza of the library's Garden Cafe, 4 pm–7 pm.
