Most would acknowledge that 2016 was a difficult year for Baton Rouge residents; there was, and is, much anxiety and loss to work through. As is often the case, artists become a primary locus through which large, dramatic shifts are processed, a collective effort which is being represented at Kelwood Contemporary Art’s new exhibition, Reflections on 2016. This juried show welcomes artists from around the country and will be on view from March 4 to April 14. The opening reception is March 4 from 6 pm–9 pm, with a second, closing closing reception held April 13 from 6 pm–9 pm. 8202 Kelwood Avenue. (704) 526-8097.
