The good doctor prescribes a dose of aerobic enjoyment for fans of bicycles, food, and music. The Revival begins with a bike ride on the Mississippi River bike path from LaSalle’s Landing in Kenner’s Rivertown to Oak Street in New Orleans. Volunteer bike captains will provide guidance and assistance along the 11-mile path. After returning from New Orleans to La Salle’s Landing, riders get a free bike valet at the Big Easy where a presentation of the parish’s proposed Master Bike Plan will follow. There’s no admission charge to enter the festival grounds at Heritage Park, enjoy some of the food and drinks for sale and listen to musicians such as Nola Treblemakers and the New Creations Brass Band. However, anyone paying a $25 fee gets a Revival souvenir, two beer tickets and one food ticket. 8:30 am—6 pm.
