Ugly Christmas Sweater Party

Ugly, tacky Christmas sweater parties are all the rage, but getting harder to find in stores. The Greenwell Springs branch library has the remedy, inviting adults ages 19-30 (-ish) to make the tackiest sweater ever. You bring a perfectly good, old sweater, and the library will supply everything necessary to make it hideous. Fabric paint, tinsel, buttons, and sequins will all be provided. The ugliest, tackiest sweater created will receive a prize. 6:30 pm Monday at 11300 Greenwell Springs Road. Free. Refreshments served. (225) 274-4450.
