For more than three decades now, New Orleans' community radio station WWOZ has promoted the unique New Orleans style of piano playing, often called the Longhair style, with its annual Piano Night. Join the torch bearers of this style for a night in celebration of it, with the likes of Ellis Marsalis, Marcia Ball, Jon Cleary, Tom McDermott, and many more. 7 pm at the House of Blues. This year, for an upgraded price, guests can experience "The Byrd's Next Lounge Patron Party," an intimate Piano Night showcase and patron party in the House of Blues Foundation Room.
