Head to Vermilionville this Saturday for Old Time Christmas fun. Designed with the whole family in mind, there'll be village tours featuring holiday traditions from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, Christmas caroling, storytelling, a village-wide art project, bousillage ornament making, gingerbread cookie decorating, a Louisiana Folkroots music jam, and a visit from Papa Noël and his donkey, Gui (French for mistletoe). 10 am–4 pm. $6 adults; $4 students; free for children ages three and under.
