For more than a decade, D. Fran Morley has been a full-time freelancer—traveling, interviewing, researching, and taking photos, and then sitting in Fairhope, Alabama, to write stories for all manner of publications, online and in print. She and her fiddle-playing husband, Tom, enjoy traveling, reading, playing Irish tunes, discovering new craft beers, paddling their kayaks on peaceful backwaters, and spending time with Finn and Zoey, the wonder cats.
