From February 1–February 3, A24 and Square Peg Films are coming to New Orleans with the star-studded cast of the forthcoming feature film, The Drama—directed by Kristoffer Borgl (Dream Scenario, Sick of Myself). Starring Zendaya and Robert Pattinson, the film tells the story of a couple whose relationship takes an unsuspecting turn on their way to the altar.
Casting directors are currently conducting a search for small two roles to be played by New Orleans based actors—including those who are new to the industry and have little experience. This once-in-a-lifetime chance to be part of feature film as an emerging actor is open to a male and a female of any ethnicity, ages fifteen to eighteen (though they should appear to be around fifteen to sixteen).
The actors chosen for the role will be hired under the SAG Basic Theatrical Agreement (though you don’t have to be union to audition) and will be paid $1,204 per day for between one and three days total. All travel and accommodations will be covered for the actor and their guardian if they live beyond driving distance of New Orleans. Find more details here.
