In Acadiana, finding the closest lunch spot, the most enviable crawfish hole, or the best route to tackle the Boudin Trail just got a lot easier. In April, Lafayette Travel officially launched the new EatLafayette app, designed to open the doors to discovery of the Acadiana region’s rich culinary offerings. The user-friendly app focuses on locally-owned restaurants, which can be sought out via searches based on proximity, recommendations, or category tags like “Cajun,” “Home Cooking,” “Sweets,” and many more. Each entry features a quick link to a restaurant’s website, up-to-date hours, and a map feature that will take you straight to the door. Now available on the App Store and Google Play.
