Ingredients
- 2 oz. Banks Golden Age Rum
- 1 oz. lime juice
- 3/4 oz. Abby’s Mix (recipe below)
- 2 dashes Dale DeGroff’s
- Pimento Dram Bitters
Method: Combine ingredients. Shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with 2 dashes of Dale DeGroff’s Pimento Dram Bitters and a lime wheel.
Abby’s Mix
Ingredients
- 3 grapefruits
- 1 qt. sugar
- 3 whole cinnamon sticks
- 5 star anise pods
- 2 cups boiling water
Method: Peel the grapefruits and muddle the peels in the sugar. Let sit at least 2 hours. Add the cinnamon sticks and star anise pods to the boiling water, then add the sugar/grapefruit mix. Stir until sugar is dissolved, cool, and refrigerate for up to one month.
