This past May, Carson’s Table officially opened on Lafitte Street, at the foot of the Mandeville Trailhead, bringing scratch-made, elevated Creole cuisine to the thirty-one-mile Tammany Trace bicycle trail. Founded by Chef/owner Carson Wandell, the Northshore restaurant pairs his twenty years of award-winning culinary experience with thoughtfully sourced ingredients, hand-cut steaks, and house-made sauces, to bring comfortable, yet elevated dishes to the table in two artisanal dining spaces.
For those in search of a relaxed, woodsy affair, the downstairs dining room offers tableside cocktail service and an extensive cellar of sommelier-selected wines. Upstairs, a more formal ambiance is suited to celebrations held over intimate wine dinners.
Walk-in lunch service runs from 11 am to 2 pm Monday through Friday. Reservations for dinner are recommended.
