New York-based painter Dana Nehdaran creates stunning works inspired by the historic E.J. Bellocq portraits of the women of New Orleans' Pre-WWI red-light district Storyville. This fall, his series of paintings will be on display at Spillman-Blackwell Fine Art. An opening reception—including live jazz, hors d'oeuvres, and a full bar sponsored by the Sazerac Company—will take place in conjunction with Art for Arts' Sake on October 1 from 6 pm–9 pm. spillmanblackwellart.com.
