October at the Abita Springs Opry
Abita Springs Town Hall 22161 Level Street, Abita Springs, Louisiana 70420
Since 2002, the Abita Springs Opry has remained devoted to preserving Louisiana's indigenous music in all its guises—running six times a year since the start, with only a single cancellation after Hurricane Katrina. The party continues on, with consistently impressive lineups sure to fill the town hall to overflowing with Louisiana sounds and toe tappin' to boot.
Arrive early and join the folks who've made a ritual of enjoying gumbo, hot dogs, and homemade pastries, not to mention the pre-show sound checks and front porch concerts. It all adds up to the good ole family atmosphere that the Opry strives for. The lineup for October's show includes:
- Three Rivers Cooperative
- Sabine and the Dew Drops
- Coobie Joe Cajun Band
- Rick Ledbetter
