With a grant awarded by the National Endowment for the Humanities through the American Library Association, in partnership with Citizen Film and the National Writing Project, the West Baton Rouge Library is teaming up with the West Baton Rouge Museum for a series of events inspired by the documentary American Creed. The film is part of a national engagement campaign encouraging discussion and exploration on American identity and ideals, and will be screened as a kick-start to the series on January 16. Dr. Courtney Brown, of LSU's National Writing Project, will facilitate Community Conversations throughout the course of the month's events. All events will be held at 12:30 pm. Free to the public.
