Annunciation Wine Dinner Featuring Twomey And Silver Oak Cellars

Annunciation, the modern Creole & Southern restaurant in the Warehouse District, is partnering up with Republic National to stage this six-course dinner paired with award-winning California wines from Twomey and Silver Oak Cellars. Executive Chef Jacob Cureton will take diners on a culinary journey, while putting the spotlight on bright, fresh whites and fragrant, fruit-forward reds. Diners will be plied:

• Raw Oysters paired with Twomey Sauvignon Blanc,

• Raw Tuna and Fried Green Tomatoes served with Tworney Pinot Noir

• A Smoked Meat Consomme and Shrimp & Mirliton Wonton alongside Silver Oak Napa Valley Cabernet 2012,

• Charred Eggplant with Rutabaga and Black Eyed Peas, paired with Twomey Merlot 2012,

• Twice-Cooked Pork Shank with Grits, served with Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet 2012

• And Chocolate Pot du Crème to wrap it all up.
