Personification of the Seven Deadly Sins. Animalistic distortions of human bodies. Abuse of power. The passing of time. The balance between cohesion and destruction. In a rejection of Springtime's idealization, the Jonathan Ferrara Gallery's new group exhibition Art in Doom deals in the darker pathos of life on earth, which persists in every season. Featuring work in various media by artists Tiffany Calvert, Beth Carter, Peter Olson, Nora See, and William Woodword, the exhibition highlights subjects including: political corruption, gender inequality, religious pathology, and the human condition. On exhibit from February 29–April 11. jonathanferraragallery.com.
