Stop by the Main Library at Goodwood to listen in as Callie Smith, LSU Museum of Art Educator, delivers a presentation on the life and art of Clementine Hunter. An exhibition of works by Hunter, the renowned, self-taught Black Louisiana artist who began painting later in life while living and working on Melrose Plantation outside of Natchitoches, is currently on display at LSU Museum of Art at the Shaw Center.
