On Friday at 8:30 pm and Saturday at 5:30 pm on Art Rocks!, (episode #625), Zachary, Louisiana couple Larry and Gay Square, share the story behind their extensive art collection, which includes works by artists from across the United States and as far afield as South Africa.
Next, we see the creative work of Chesapeake, Virginia glass artists Robin and Julia Rogers, and then meet Tauba Auerbach, whose public art in New York Harbor commemorates the 100th anniversary of the end of WWI. This week’s Louisiana Treasure is a visit to New Iberia’s Shadows-on-the-Teche Antebellum home and gardens, the first National Trust for Historic Preservation site in the Gulf South.
