Baker Faire

Apparently—and appropriately—National Bake Week falls in the spring, from April 6–12. To properly participate in this sweet celebration, the East Baton Rouge Parish Library is hosting its first ever Baker Faire at the Main Library at Goodwood, recognizing both talented local cottage bakers and the everyday, home kitchen bakers. Shop from twenty local bakers, browse baking-themed items, enjoy special talks and demonstrations from Red Stick Spice Company and Young Chefs Academy, and enter a Cookie Contest hosted by The Advocate. 2 pm–5 pm.
