Baton Rouge Gallery July Events

The Baton Rouge Gallery - Center for Contemporary Art, known across the Capital Region for its support of local artists for decades, presents two events for the month of July: 

• July 1: First Wednesday Opening Reception: Gaudet, Parker, Surtain—Celebrate the newest works of exhibiting artist members Mitchell Gaudet, Mary Jane Parker, and Brandon Surtain in a free, open reception with complimentary bites and beverages, along with music by Jovin Webb. 6 pm–9 pm. 
• July 5: ARTiculate Artist Talk: Gaudet, Parker, Surtain—Enjoy a free, informal artist talk featuring artists Mitchell Gaudet, Mary Jane Parker, and Brandon Surtain. Hear about their techniques, processes, and inspirations, ending with a Q&A session. 4 pm–6 pm.
