Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra Holiday Brass Performances
Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church 445 Marquette Avenue, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70806
Celebrating its seventy second season, the Baton Rouge Symphony has creatively worked with musicians, staff, and the BRSO board to develop a schedule that ensures the safety of musicians and patrons, while also continuing to bring powerful performances to the community in the upcoming year.
This month, get into the spirit with four Holiday Brass performances. The first is to be held on December 4 at 7:30 pm at Hemingbough Plantation's amphitheater. Then, join BRSO at Zachary's Whinsical Alley. On December 16, guests will experience St. Joseph's Cathedral's famous cathedral organ, played by David Summers, along with brass, percussion, and harp. Because of the event's popularity, BRSO is holding two performances. The first begins at 6:30 pm, and the second at 8:30 pm. The 6:30 pm performance will also be livestreamed. For in-person performances, masks are required. $30. brso.org.
