The Battle of Baton Rouge 1779, Remembered
A program at Audubon State Historic Site interprets Louisiana’s role in the Revolutionary War as well as the 236th anniversary of the siege and battle for Baton Rouge. Special activities will include militia drills throughout the day and musket ball-making demonstrations, plus a small re-enactment of the battle each day.
