As part of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, Louisiana's Old State Capitol displays the Louisiana Purchase agreement, signed by Napoleon Bonaparte. The 1803 agreement between the United States and France added 828,000 square miles to America's landscape for $15 million dollars.
