Bourré at the Brewery

Bourré beginners might think they've just got to get the rules down pat before they're welcomed into card game's inner circle, but the trash talk's just heating up. Get your sea legs with lessons taught by a local bourré master before entering into a spirited game, all hosted by the Bayou Teche Brewery. Every level of experience welcome; thick skins preferred. Immersed in the Acadian culture of the Bayou Teche, guests will also enjoy a porch jam session and get the chance to listen in on—or participate in—a French Table. 2 pm–5 pm.
