BRSO presents: "Carmina Burana"

The Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra closes its 2024-2025 season with "Carmina Burana," conducted by Maestro Adam Johnson. Beginning the evening, the orchestra will perform Aaron Copland's classic ballet suite, Appalachian Spring. Dancers Briana del Mundo and Waverly Fredericks will join BRSO, evoking the nineteenth century Pennsylvania countryside. Carl Orff's Carmina Burana will follow, featuring soprano Martha Guth, tenor David Shaler, baritone Dongwon Kim, and the Baton Rouge Symphony Chorus. 7:30 pm–9:30 pm. $19–$65. brso.org.
