CASA Orientation Sessions
Volunteers are needed to serve as a much-needed advocates for abused and neglected youths with Capital Area CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) Association. CASA Volunteers advocate for children in the Foster Care system until they reach permanent homes. They do not replace social workers, but rather serve as an independent voice advocating for the best interests of the child. No special background is required, just attend one of the thirty-minute virtual orientation sessions:
