Head down to Point-Aux-Chenes to challenge your fishing skills and educate the kiddos about water safety with the first annual Children's Water Safety Awareness Fishing Rodeo. There will be a boating, kayak, and kids' division, with cash prizes awarded to the top three winners in each category. Scales are open on Saturday from noon until 6 pm, and Sunday from 10 am until 2 pm. Crab Races will take place with free entry at 5 pm Saturday. $30 entry for participants over thirteen years old, $10 for kids under twelve. houmatourism.com.
