The first of its kind, the Coastal Trash Couture Fashion Show features original designs constructed from recycled and discarded materials to highlight environmental awareness in Louisiana. Held at Bayou Vista Community Center in Morgan City, the event requires designs must be made of at least 75% recycled or reused materials, include a model, and a brief environmental fact to be shared during the show.
