With CrawFête, the Baton Rouge Epicurean Society and Mockler Beverage combine their tasty powers to raise money for childhood nutrition programs. Chefs from participating area restaurants have been tapped to craft gourmet crawfish dishes, complemented with fine wines, beers, and spirits from Mockler. Rumor has it crawfish doesn't need a plastic tray and a handy roll of paper towels to be delicious. Find out for yourself, 6 pm–9 pm. $65. bresbr.org.
