Create n' Take: Calder-Style Mobiles with Laurali Manieri

Inspired by the playful kinetic designs of Alexander Calder, students of this workshop at The Arts Hancock County will explore how shape, weight, balance, and placement work together while constructing their own hanging mobile. Instructor Laurali Manieri will guide participants through the basic principles and techniques of kinetic mobile design, including assembling, balancing, and adjusting each element to create movement. No previous experience is required, and all materials and tools are provided. Students will leave with a completed mobile and new techniques they can apply to future creative projects.
