The Acadiana Center for the Arts continues to provide vital resources to artists, musicians, and other creatives in the Acadiana region—like these in-person workshops from national presenters on topics related to artist finances and other key facets of maintaining a life as a professional creator. February 1: "Artist Finances: Mindset & Money": Participants are guided through a holistic approach to money management, starting with uncovering their "money blueprint."
February 15: "Artist Finances: Financial Literacy": Better your money management skills and raise your financial literacy.
February 22: "Artist Finances: Tax Planning": Get help preparing for filing 2021 taxes.
March 7 & 14: "A Sustainable Creative Life: Relationships & Ecosystems 2-part workshop": This workshop series is specifically designed to empower artists, demonstrate pragmatic approaches to sustaining a creative life.
April 4 & 11: "A Sustainable Creative Life: Community & Opportunities 2-part workshop": Follow-up workshop series to Relationships and Ecosystems and how to activate your networks.
May 3: "Instagram for Artists" (at Lafayette Public Library - Main): For many artists, creating authentic Instagram content that conveys their identity as a creator and an individual can be a challenge.
May 4: "Social Media for Social Practice Artists": This workshop delves into how change-making socially-engaged artists can increase their impact on social media by using organic content.
