Join the Gallier House for a seasonal favorite, the Creole Death and Mourning exhibition…after dark! Tour the historic Victorian townhome dressed for mourning, and learn about a time period when death and the macabre were pervasive. For Catholic Creoles in New Orleans, mourning rituals were an integral part of nineteenth-century lif,e and a sincere effort to remember departed relatives and friends.
