Dr. Seuss's Birthday at Lafourche Public Libraries

As the great poet once said, "You can find magic, wherever you look. Sit back and relax, all you need is a book." In celebration of Dr. Seuss' birthday this month, and in conjunction with Read Across America, Lafourche Public Libraries are hosting a series of wacky, creative, and mischievous Dr. Seuss activities. 

March 2

• We Love Dr. Seuss Story Hour. 10:30 am at Bayou Blue Branch Library (198 Mazerac St.) 
• Take a Picture with the Cat in the Hat. 3:30 pm at the Thibodaux Branch Library (705 W. Fifth Street). 
• Dr. Seuss Character Mask-Making and Coloring. 4 pm at the Choctaw Branch Library (1887 Choctaw Rd.) 
• Create a Thing 1 Headband. 4 pm at the Larose Branch Library (305 E. Fifth St.) 
• Create a Wocket for Your Pocket. 4:30 pm at Gheens Branch Library (153 N. Leon Dr.) 
• There's a Wocket in My Pocket Storytime and Craft. 4:30 pm at Golden Meadow Branch Library (1403 N. Bayou Dr.)
