September brings a new lineup to the East Baton Rouge Main Library’s Author Talk Series, which presents three best-selling authors in live virtual events ideal for readers of various ages. Virtual Author Talks are an opportunity to engage in Q&A sessions and connect directly with each author.
September 10: Author Garrett Graff speaks about his oral histories, The Only Plane in the Sky: An Oral History of 9/11 and When the Sea Came Alive: An Oral History of D-Day. 1 pm.
September 18: Author and philosopher Nate Klemp discusses his Open: Living with an Expansive Mind in a Distracted World, a way to reconnect with the self in a world that demands disassociation to survive. 1 pm.
September 21: Bestselling author Liane Moriarty shares insights from her newest novel, Here One Moment, which explores fate, free-fall, and efforts to regain control in a world that is out of our hands—all taking place during a short domestic flight. 6 pm.
