You won't want to miss the much anticipated twenty-sixth Friends of Magnolia Mound Petite Antiques Forum, beginning this year at the Louisiana State Archives with a lecture by Neal Hurst, the Curator of Textiles and Historic Dress at Colonial Williamsburg, titled “The Art of Dressing: Clothing Men and Women1770–1820.”  Hurst will share Colonial Williamsburg's collection of historic clothing and accessories. Attendees will then lunch at the Baton Rouge Country Club before touring a privately owned historic home in Rosedale, along with the privately owned Valverda, built around 1842. $150.
