"From Louisiana Colonist to Bayou Teche Patriot"

The Iberia Parish Library Parkview Branch hosts a self-guided exhibit sponsored by The New Iberia Chapterof the Daughters of the American Revolution. From Louisiana Colonist to Bayou Teche Patriot depicts life in the Attakapas District in 1779, highlighting the five cultural groups that arrived along the Bayou Teche—each of which joined the American Revolution to fight the British along the Mississippi River and Gulf Coast. 9 am–4 pm.
