Where does the funkiest band in town ring out the old year? The venue they own makes sense. Galactic has turned up at Tipitina's for years to hype up the New Year's Eve bash, and since they purchased the venue in late 2018, it's become something of a house party. 

Doors open at 9 pm, show starts at 10 pm. General admission/standing room only. Must be 18 or older. $76. tipitinas.com.
