Games in the Gardens at Longue Vue

Longue Vue House and Gardens puts its own New Orleans twist on an English garden party with their annual Games in the Gardens, inspired partially by the “Racquet & Julep Club” founded by Edith and Edgar Stern at Longue Vue nearly a century ago. On Thursday, a reception honoring musician and Longue Vue board member Dr. Michael White takes place at 4 pm, followed by lawn games from 5 pm–7 pm. (Kids' games run from 4 pm, so there's a place to safely stow them during the reception.) $150, with proceeds directed to Longue Vue's garden education programs.
