Le Petit Theatre, in association with HEC Communications LLC, presents the world premiere of a new play by Harold Ellis Clark, who was inspired to write the play after a visit to the Whitney Plantation in 2018. Ganking Mr. Guidry is set in the late 1870s, during Louisiana's sugarcane harvesting season. The play follows the lives of five workers who join together to oppose injustice. 7:30 pm Thursday & Friday; 2 pm and 7:30 pm Saturday; 3 pm Sunday. $35–$55. lepetittheatre.com.
