Great American Legion Banana Split Celebration

Ice cream. Bananas. Whipped cream. What more could a person want in the dead of a scorching Louisiana summer? Join the enthusiasts at Robert H. Burns American Legion Post #16 to celebrate the banana split, which turns 122 years old this year. With hundreds of guests expected, the ice cream anniversary serves as a fundraiser for Northshore Food Bank. Sessions from 1 pm–3 pm, and 5 pm–7 pm. $8 at the door.
