Who says summer camps are only for kids? TheWalter Anderson Museum of Art offers a series of adults-only art workshops for those looking to flex their creativity this summer.
- June 19: Painter's Palm: Mini Canvas Painting: Campers learn to paint on a miniature canvas.
- June 26: Serigraph Splendor: Screen Printing: Campers explore one of the most popular forms of printmaking: silk screen.
- July 3: Pixel Perfect: Smart Phone Workshops: Campers get a crash course in smart phone photography basics, including tips, tricks, and resources.
- July 10: Pajaki Party: Polish Inspired Mobiles: Campers learn how to create a traditional Polish chandelier/mobile made from rye straw and colorful paper.
- July 17: A Voluptuous Evening: Art of Still Life: Campers, inspired by a group still life, create art in the medium of their choice.
- July 24: Poly-Print Night: Linocut Printmaking: Campers try their hand at beginner linocut hand-press printmaking.
- July 31: Gelli-Roll: Monoprinting with Gelli Plates: Campers are introduced to gel plate printing using a variety of techniques.
- August 7: Cafe Koozies: Felt Coffee Sleeves: Campers learn basic felt-working techniques, simple pattern design, and hand-stitching to create a custom coffee sleeve.
